Our Beliefs
Doctrinal Statement:
Commissioned to Love Discipleship and Outreach Ministries believe the infallible Word of Truth, the Holy Bible in its entirety. We believe in one God operating in three Persons- God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ) and God the Holy Spirit. We believe that Jesus Christ was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life, walking this earth as 100% God and 100% man. He died on the cross as the ultimate sacrifice for our sins. We believe that Jesus Christ rose from the dead with all power and authority and is the only way to get to heaven. We believe that Hell is a real place of eternal torment; that Satan is the Father of lies; that Jesus will return for His people (the rapture);and that judgment will reign on the unjust the just.
Scriptural Foundation:
As commanded by Jesus in Matthew 28:19-20 our ultimate mission or Commission is to 19Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
As with any Christian, we are charged to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ in Love. 1st Corinthians 13:4(NLT) states that 4Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud 5or rude. Love does not demand its own way. Love is not irritable, and it keeps no record of when it has been wronged. 6It is never glad about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. 7Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.
